Tinker
April 3 This is crazy, I learned after committing to 3 forums promoting a Poem a Day that two of the forums have "prompts" for each day. So I'm writing not one poem a day but three. Backyard Poet He called himself a backyard poet, and wrote of his pug playing below a gnarled old oak that housed chortling Kingbirds and scampering squirrels. This was his place where hundreds of pages were filled with his heart and his mind. His place where friends were welcomed for barbeque and he and Myrtle would sit silently to watch the sunset. Then Katrina came to call, and his pen was silenced. ~~Judi Van Gorder Prompt - "place" Quote ~~ © ~~ Poems by Judi Van Gorder ~~ For permission to use this work you can write to Tinker1111@icloud.com
